Job Summary The Mechanical Engineer III participates in the design of Bluberi cabinets, creates mechanical drawings and provides technical documentation for Bluberi products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Participates in and occasionally leads the development of new cabinets.

Designs and models complex mechanical parts and assemblies.

Ensures mechanical components meet qualification specifications.

Resolves complex mechanical problems.

Participates in mechanical brainstorming meetings with key stakeholders.

Reviews, approves and provides guidance on updating documentation for mechanical products.

Mentors other team members and serves as a subject matter expert for the team.

Troubleshoots complex issues and provides technical and economically feasible solutions.

Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the manager.

Required Skills and Experience

University degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent or relevant experience.

In-depth knowledge of SolidWorks and/or other 3D modeling software.

5+ years of experience working in mechanical engineering.

Expertise in gaming industry certification requirements related to mechanical design.

Strong time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Ability to coach and mentor.

Ability to analyze and synthesize technical data.

Strong attention to detail and thoroughness.

Assets

Good interpersonal skills.

Able to work as part of a team or independently.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is also regularly required to stand, walk, sit, and use hands and fingers to touch and handle objects, tools or controls.

Specific visual abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Depending on the position, may have to travel locally, nationally or internationally.
