About The Role
We’re looking for a
Maintenance Area Supervisor
to lead skilled trades teams in a fast-paced, high-volume, unionized manufacturing environment. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you’ll drive equipment reliability, coach your team, and ensure maintenance operations meet safety, quality, and production goals.
What You’ll Do
Lead and coordinate professional and breakdown maintenance activities to support production targets.
Improve equipment throughput, reliability, and uptime.
Mentor and coach team members using Stellantis Production Way (SPW) methodologies.
Supervise Skilled Trades employees in daily operations and continuous improvement efforts.
Partner with Professional Maintenance Specialists to resolve equipment issues and reduce downtime.
Champion waste reduction initiatives through SPW pillars: AM, PM, QM, FI, and PD.
Lead Kaizen activities to boost Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
What We’re Looking For
Basic Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED.
Minimum 3 years of industrial automation experience + project management.
Ability to work any shift and overtime as needed.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Proven troubleshooting and problem‑solving experience.
Ability to coach and develop skilled trades employees.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a technical/engineering field.
Experience in continuous improvement systems and lean manufacturing.
Leadership experience in a union environment.
Green Belt/Red X/Six Sigma training.
Familiarity with controls, robotics, welding, paint processes, vision systems, and sensors.
Knowledge of World Class Manufacturing (WCM) methodologies.
Google Suite proficiency.
