Position Summary:
JCCC inspires learning to transform lives and strengthen communities. This position supports this mission by providing accounting support for Dining Services operations, including processing daily sales receipts and deposits, submitting vendor accounts‑payable invoices, and managing accounts‑receivable activities in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma and 3+ years of related experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Associates Degree.
Job Duties include but are not limited to:
Cash Handling & Daily Financial Reconciliation: Count cash drawers and reconcile daily sales with tenders. Prepare bank deposits and complete related documentation. Maintain the Dining vault room, ensure accurate till balances, and clean or rebuild cash drawers.
Accounts Payable/Receivable & Vendor Management: Process and submit invoices for payment and maintain vendor account balances. Support year‑end accrual activities. Coordinate vendor inquiries, issue resolution, and account setup with designated Dining Services staff. Assist internal business partners with customer service needs related to accounts payable and receivable.
Audit & Compliance Support: Provide support during internal and external audits.
Assist less experienced team members.
Other duties as assigned.
