Enter financial data and transactions Verify the accuracy of transactions that have been entered Prepare trial balance Analyze budgets and other financial information Process accounts payable and accounts receivable Complete required tax forms Run payroll manage accounts payable and accounts receivable. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field Previous experience as an accountant, bookkeeper, or similar position Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) Good with spreadsheets, experienced in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and basic accounting systems Strong mathematical and analytical skills Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
