Senior Corporate Accountant
We are seeking a highly skilled
Senior Corporate Accountant
to join our corporate finance team. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and effective collaboration across multiple business units in the US and Canada. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, analytical, and comfortable working in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
What You’ll Do
Lead key components of the monthly accounting close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Prepare and analyze financial statements, supporting schedules, and management reports
Perform general ledger account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies proactively
Support cash management activities and assist with tax‑related deliverables
Prepare workpapers for annual audits and tax filings, partnering closely with external auditors
Participate in internal control testing and ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams - including finance, operations, and business units across the US and Canada - to support consolidated reporting and financial planning
Contribute to ad hoc projects, process improvements, and system enhancements
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
5+ years of progressive accounting experience
Experience with SAP, BPC, or similar ERP systems (preferred)
Background in manufacturing or CPG environments (a plus)
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities
