Winter Construction is seeking an
Estimator
to join our
SPACES Division , a team focused on delivering high‑quality, fast‑paced commercial interiors and specialty renovation projects throughout the Atlanta area. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys the balance of technical precision and creative problem‑solving that comes with estimating.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare conceptual, schematic, design development, and detailed estimates for commercial interior and specialty projects.
Review design documents and specifications to ensure accuracy and completeness of estimates.
Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor bids; manage bid coverage and scope reviews.
Utilize BuildingConnected or similar takeoff/estimating software for bid management and quantity analysis.
Partner with Project Managers, Superintendents, and the Preconstruction Director to develop accurate budgets and project strategies.
Conduct value engineering and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
Maintain strong relationships with trade partners, architects, and clients to support collaboration and repeat business.
Assist in turnover meetings and ensure a smooth transition from preconstruction to operations.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
Prior field or preconstruction experience preferred.
Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with BuildingConnected, Bluebeam, or other takeoff software.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Local to the Atlanta area (no travel required)
