REMOTE Revenue Integrity Charge Specialist
Trinity Health is hiring a Remote Revenue Integrity Charge Specialist to support the organization’s revenue cycle and revenue integrity initiatives. The role focuses on data capture, analysis, and reporting to help leadership achieve operational efficiency and process improvement.
Responsibilities
Capture and analyze data to support operational projects and revenue integrity.
Audit departmental information, produce reports, and recommend process improvements.
Ensure accurate CPT and ICD‑10 documentation for patient billing and coordinate with clinical departments on charge capture.
Reconcile charge data, identify missing or duplicate charges, and maintain reference logs and reporting tools.
Provide guidance to clinical and revenue integrity colleagues on quality charge reviews.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.
1–2 years of experience in a hospital or physician practice environment, with a focus on revenue cycle, billing, coding, or patient financial services.
Knowledge of medical terminology, hospital or practice revenue cycle front‑end functions, and billing regulations.
Preferred: RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CPC/COC, AAPC, or other coding credentials; licensed or licensed practical nursing credentials; CHC or CHRI certifications.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to process large amounts of data.
