Assessment Specialist, RN Join Lifepoint Health® as an Assessment Specialist, RN. This part‑time role focuses on making communities healthier by providing assessment and crisis support within our behavioral health unit.

Schedule Part‑time.

Key Responsibilities

Work with internal and external customers to identify patients appropriate for admission to the Behavioral Health Unit.

Conduct crisis assessments as identified in the job functions.

Plan and deliver direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process of Assessment, Planning, Intervention, and Evaluation.

Develop nursing care plans in coordination with patient, family and interdisciplinary staff as necessary.

Communicate changes in patient clinical condition with physicians, Nursing Supervisor/Manager and Director of Intake and Admission.

Requirements

Current state RN license.

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school.

BCLS certification (ACLS preferred).

Minimum 2 years’ experience in a psychiatric setting.

Experience in crisis counseling and crisis evaluations preferred.
