Responsibilities
Scanning, creating, and auditing vendor invoices for encumbered and unencumbered direct orders.
Processing a variety of accounting transactions in FLAIR to create voucher documents and update accounting records.
Maintaining accounting records on payment status and reconciling outstanding encumbrance balances to FLAIR before processing payments.
Processing payments such as journal transfers, direct orders, advance payment requests, settlement agreements, and other miscellaneous items.
Running assigned program office monthly encumbrance reports and reconciling to FLAIR records, including payment log sheets and processing accounting changes directly in FLAIR or My Florida Marketplace.
Researching zero or rejected invoices, duplicate payments, and using FLAIR accounting reports, Financial Information System (FIS), and My Florida Marketplace.
Assisting in the certified forward process.
Performing other duties as required.
Qualifications Applicants must be eligible for E-Verify and complete Form I‑9. A security background check and/or drug screening are required. Male applicants born on or after October 1, 1962 must be registered with the Selective Services System or have an exemption letter. Retirees of the Florida Retirement System may have benefits affected by re‑employment. All applicants must be able to learn and communicate effectively in English. The position may require emergency duty outside normal hours.
