We are seeking a detail‑oriented and experienced Medical Insurance Verifier to join our Otolaryngology practice and ensure that our patients receive the care they need by verifying their insurance coverage and benefits. As a Medical Insurance Verifier, you will be responsible for verifying patient insurance information, collecting patient copays and deductibles, and submitting claims to insurance providers.
Responsibilities
Verify patient eligibility and coverage.
Obtain pre‑authorization for services as needed.
Communicate with insurance providers to resolve issues or discrepancies.
Ensure all patient information is accurate and up‑to‑date.
Submit claims in a timely and accurate manner.
Qualifications
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills.
Experience working with medical insurance providers and electronic medical records.
Passion for providing exceptional patient care and willingness to go above and beyond.
Required Education and Experience
High School graduate or equivalent.
One year of related experience.
