Position Summary
The Treasury Management Specialist supports the growth and retention of First Peoples Bank's commercial and municipal relationships by delivering high-quality treasury management solutions and services. This role partners closely with Branch Managers, Commercial Lenders, Operations, and clients to implement, maintain, and support cash management products that help customers optimize liquidity, manage risk, and improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities Client Support & Service
Serve as a primary point of contact for treasury management clients, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
Assist clients with onboarding, implementation, and ongoing use of treasury management services.
Provide training to clients on treasury products, digital banking platforms, and best practices.
Ensure a high level of client satisfaction through proactive service and follow-up.
Treasury Management Operation
Support the setup, maintenance, and documentation of treasury management products, including but not limited to:
ACH (origination and receipt)
Wire transfers
Remote Deposit Capture (RDC)
Online and mobile banking
Positive Pay and fraud prevention services
Sweep and liquidity solutions
Review and verify service agreements, resolutions, and required compliance documentation.
Monitor product usage and assist with ongoing account maintenance.
Perform and maintain annual reviews.
Sales & Relationship Support
Partner with bank retail staff to identify treasury management opportunities for existing and prospective clients.
Assist in preparing proposals, pricing, and presentations for treasury management services.
Support cross‑selling efforts by identifying additional services that meet client needs.
Participate in client meetings as needed to explain products and support relationship development.
Risk Management & Compliance
Ensure treasury management activities comply with bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Assist with fraud monitoring, exception handling, and risk mitigation efforts.
Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with audit and compliance standards.
Understand Banking Regulations and adherence to Bank Policies.
Internal Collaboration
Work closely with Operations, IT, Compliance, and Retail staff to ensure smooth service delivery.
Assist with testing, implementation, and enhancement of treasury management products and systems.
Contribute to process improvements to enhance efficiency and client experience.
Qualifications Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
2+ years of experience in treasury management, cash management, commercial banking, or bank operations preferred.
Equivalent combination of education and banking experience will be considered.
Knowledge & Skills
Working knowledge of treasury management products and commercial banking services.
Strong customer service and relationship‑building skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Detail‑oriented with strong organizational and time‑management abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; experience with banking systems and digital platforms preferred.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
