We are currently looking for an Assistant Branch Relationship Manager for our Carrollton branch. The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the Manager, delivering customer service promptly and professionally, performing Universal Banker duties, and assisting all branch employees. Responsibilities
Serve in a supervisory role in the Branch Manager’s absence
Offer support and performance coaching to all branch employees
Create work hours/schedules for employees (adequate branch coverage, time off, early days, overtime avoidance)
Schedule vacations and other time off for branch associates
Assist in supervision of branch security
Deliver exceptional customer service with a positive approach in all areas of retail banking
Perform all Universal Banker tasks and responsibilities within established policies, procedures and guidelines
Open all types of deposit accounts for consumer and commercial customers
Takes loan applications, process and close consumer loans
Provide Notary Public services and Medallion Signature Guarantee
Build customer loyalty, establish customer relationships, and utilize relationship selling to provide solutions
Identifies customer needs and refer financial products and services both to current and prospective clients
Generate new business to assist in meeting established profitability goals
Requirements Educational & Experience Requirements
A minimum of two years of progressive banking/financial services/teller experience with a successful compliance, customer service, cash handling, referral and/or cross sell ratings preferred. Lending and new account experience preferred.
Ability to demonstrate competence in retail consumer lending responsibilities and duties
Demonstrated proficiency in interpersonal communications, verbal and written is a must. This position requires daily interaction with customers, employees and vendors and concise communications are critical
Ability to prepare or interpret basic verbal and written instructions and/or perform routine mathematical functions
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to obtain and maintain Notary and NMLS certifications
Capable of successfully identify customer needs, goals and objectives and suggest bank products and services that match the customers’ needs
Ability to respond and assist customers with inquiries and problem resolution skills
Proven ability to work in a team environment
Proficiency in basic computer skills
Careful attention to detail and time management
Physical/Cognitive Demands This position requires the ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time in an office setting, advanced verbal and written communication skills including use of phone, computer, speaking, listening, and presenting, excellent organizational and time management skills, the ability to problem solve, negotiate, and persuade customers, intermediate math and analytical skills, and computer literacy. This position requires Saturday work availability with occasional evening work hours.
