Private Equity Fund Accounting & Administration, Assistant Vice President
Join State Street, an industry leader in administrative fund services, as an Assistant Vice President in our Private Equity (PE) team. In this role you will service hybrid hedge and private equity products for leading asset managers, integrating with trade operations, investor services, custody, tax, and financial reporting teams locally and globally.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a growing team of financial services professionals in delivering accounting and administrative services for one or more alternative investment client relationships.
Allocate income to investors and determine management and incentive fees in accordance with waterfall provisions, processing capital calls and distributions.
Account for portfolio and fund level activities, review and approve monthly or quarterly net asset value reports.
Lead onboarding of existing client funds and launch of new funds.
Demonstrate commitment to client satisfaction and adherence to internal policies and external regulations.
Design and champion technology solutions to meet complex reporting and data requirements.
Identify and participate in cross‑sell opportunities and strategic working groups to improve processes and operations.
Recruit, hire, train, motivate, and develop staff to realize their full potential.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
At least 5‑6 years of Private Equity experience.
Experience with alternative investment asset classes, complex fund structures, and fee calculations.
Highly effective communication and management skills.
Ability to thrive in a high‑pressure, deadline‑driven environment.
CPA qualification is favorable but not required.
Experience with Investran or Geneva favorable but not required.
Compensation $85,000 - $152,500 per annum. Salary may vary if the primary location differs.
