Annual Bonus The firm’s pricing function is a nationally distributed group operating in a remote-first environment. While leadership is concentrated on the West Coast, the team collaborates across time zones. Candidates should reside within reasonable proximity to one of the firm’s core markets:

Los Angeles, New York, Washington, Position Summary The Pricing Specialist plays a central role in shaping and administering billing rates, alternative fee arrangements, and financial insights related to legal matters. This individual partners closely with attorneys, finance colleagues, and other internal teams to support pricing strategy, budgeting, and performance analysis. Success in this role requires strong analytical judgment, responsiveness to client-facing needs, and the ability to translate complex data into practical guidance. Key Responsibilities

Build financial models to evaluate matter economics and support pricing strategy decisions. Analyze historical engagements to inform budgets and pricing structures for new matters. Develop and refine budgeting tools and templates for attorney use. Track active matters against approved budgets and prepare periodic reporting for leadership. Maintain and manage rate and alternative fee arrangement records to ensure accuracy and consistency. Produce analytical reports and presentations highlighting pricing patterns, risks, and opportunities. Collaborate with Finance, Billing, IT, and other stakeholders to ensure reliable data capture and reporting tools. Review client performance metrics to identify optimization and pricing improvement opportunities. Conduct ad hoc financial and data analyses as requested. Support special initiatives and projects related to pricing and profitability. Required Qualifications

Demonstrated knowledge of pricing concepts and financial analysis fundamentals. Experience working in the

legal industry is required . Highly self-directed, detail-oriented, and capable of seeing individual data points within a broader strategic framework. Adaptable and able to respond effectively to shifting priorities in a deadline-driven environment. Strong service mindset with the ability to work collaboratively under pressure. Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Comfortable working independently with limited oversight. Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with attorneys and senior leadership. Experience & Education

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Mathematics, or a related discipline. 2–4 years of experience

in pricing, financial analysis, FP&A, or a data-focused role within a law firm or professional services environment. Candidates with fewer than two years of experience may be considered if they bring

direct law firm pricing experience . Advanced Excel proficiency required, including complex formulas, pivot tables, macros, and large-scale data manipulation. Seniority level
