Ocean Spray is hiring for a Human Resources Generalist! We’re a team of farmers, thinkers, creators, and doers. The Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for supporting HR functions. Your duties will include managing employee relations, facilitating the recruitment process, administering HR policies and procedures, and providing guidance on HR‑related matters. You collaborate closely with members of the HR team to ensure policies and practices are efficiently delivered to employees. Additionally, you will handle employee records and provide excellent support to employee relations measures.
A Day in the Life
Implement the recruitment activities of the assigned business units to ensure adequate staffing (partnering with Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist, agencies, recruiters, and others) including managing the entire staffing process from inception to the on‑boarding process.
Assist in establishment and implementation of HR processes, programs, and training.
Execute HR administrative paperwork to insure key employee information is up‑to‑date and accurate.
Partner with other HR professionals on compensation, benefits, management development, training, performance management, and other key issues for supported employee groups, and carry out specific deliverables in a timely manner.
Handle employee relations issues within defined business units confidentially by providing excellent customer service through availability, responsiveness, and follow through.
