What You’ll Be Brewing
Responsible for ensuring all required Sales & Use tax and other miscellaneous tax reports for Molson Coors and its affiliates are documented and filed timely and accurately.
Prepare tax exemption certificates in compliance with state tax law at the request of internal and external customers.
Prepare monthly journal entries and account reconciliations as required for indirect tax.
Monitor the shared tax inboxes for Molson Coors and timely respond to tax inquiries in accordance with tax law.
Assist with indirect tax audits as requested, including compilation of documents requested by auditor.
Support the multistate team with miscellaneous projects as requested.
Update Vertex software with tax rules and new material groups.
Ability to troubleshoot SAP and Vertex discrepancies for tax filings.
Manage distributor claims to ensure that State and Federal Excise taxes are accounted for properly along with ensuring that appropriate documentation is attached for filing compliance and audit.
Key Ingredients
Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting (preferred) OR equivalent experience (4+ years) in the field of State and Local tax laws.
Strong PC skills including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, SAP.
Strong analytical ability to research tax laws, particularly in the areas of sales and use tax and excise tax, to resolve tax issues.
Familiar knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (IFRS and US GAAP) and internal controls.
Love a challenge. Ability to complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with an understanding of business priorities.
Build relationships and collaborate to get to the desired outcome but can also work independently as needed.
Take accountability for results – acting with integrity and honoring commitments.

Pay And Benefits Job Posting Total Rewards Offerings: Base salary $57,600.00 – $75,600.00; 10% target short‑term incentive; average $23,000 spent on benefits per employee, including but not limited to health, dental, vision, retirement with above‑market employer match, wellness incentives and EAP, and paid time off (including holidays, vacation days, and sick days).
