The Cavanagh Law Firm is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated civil litigator with a desire to practice and excel in an insurance‑oriented defense practice. The defense practice group is experiencing growth and is looking to add experienced attorneys to the team. We are looking for a person who would be willing to engage in a variety of matters, including insurance defense relating to auto, trucking, bad faith, premises liability, construction defect, product liability, professional liability and defense of state and municipal entities.
The ideal candidates would have:
Top 20% of law school class or Law review and/or moot court experience
Minimum of four to eight years of civil litigation experience in public or private practice
Currently licensed and in good standing with the Arizona State Bar
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Detail oriented
Some deposition or courtroom experience
Proficient in Westlaw, Word, Outlook and Excel
Must possess ability to build rapport with co‑workers and clients
Compensation and Benefits
