Salary Range Base pay offered will be between $95K and $120K per year, with total compensation potentially including a sign‑on bonus, restricted stock units and discretionary awards. Department Overview The Asset Services Team is responsible for handling and processing all market‑driven corporate action events that bring a material change to an organization and its stakeholders such as reorganizations, splits, rights offerings, spinoffs, mergers and acquisitions.
Role Description
Handling, processing and reconciling time‑sensitive, critical corporate action events.
Daily communication with internal and external Nomura stakeholders to ensure event elections, expiration, effective dates are understood and confirmation received.
Working directly with custodians to ensure elections are received and in good order.
Relationship management with various internal Trading Desks, Finance, Trade Support, Settlements, Repo, etc., acting as a point of escalation for issue resolution.
Create, monitor, and test various metrics, reports, and procedures.

Understanding the impact of processes/procedures on daily operations and its relation to business and risk.
Effective verbal and written communication.
Skills, Experience, Qualifications and Knowledge Required
At least 5 years of experience within the financial Asset Services area.
Understanding of Equity, Fixed Income, Delta 1, SWAP and Prime Broker accounts.
Experience in processing Corporate Actions, Reorg, Dividends and PNI.
Proficiency in DTC and US market Corporate Action events.
Firm understanding of Securities Lending, Repo and Settlement areas.
Motivated, diligent learner able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
Proficient in MS Office and ability to quickly learn internal & industry applications.
Ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment.
Series 99 preferred.
