The Workday Administrator plays a key role in that mission by supporting and optimizing ECI’s Workday Financials environment. This position sits within the Finance and Accounting team and is responsible for maintaining the accuracy, integrity, and performance of Workday as it relates to financial operations. The Workday Administrator will partner closely with Finance, Accounting, Payroll, and IT teams to enhance system functionality, streamline financial workflows, and improve the efficiency of ECI’s core financial processes. Location and Work Arrangement Hybrid position based in our Westlake, TX office. Required to work onsite two days per week. Key Responsibilities

System Administration & Optimization

Serve as the primary system administrator for Workday Financials. Help support and maintain integrations between Salesforce and Workday. Configure and maintain business processes, approval chains, and integrations aligned with accounting and operational requirements. Manage Workday security roles and permissions to maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with ECI’s audit standards. Partner with IT to support system upgrades, testing, and change management within the Workday environment. Financial Data & Reporting

Develop, maintain, and enhance Workday financial reports and dashboards for management and departmental use. Support monthly close processes by validating data accuracy and reconciling Workday outputs to general ledger and subledger balances. Provide analytical insights and reporting to Finance, FP&A, and leadership teams using Workday’s reporting tools and Prism analytics. Maintain data integrity and audit readiness across all financial modules. Process Improvement & Collaboration

Work directly with Finance leadership to identify and implement process automation opportunities within Workday. Serve as a liaison between Accounting, Payroll, HR, and IT to coordinate cross-functional system needs. Troubleshoot issues, escalate to Workday support as necessary, and ensure timely resolution. Create documentation, user guides, and training materials to support system adoption and consistent usage across Finance. Governance & Compliance

Support SOX compliance and internal control frameworks through appropriate role-based access and workflow governance. Maintain audit documentation for system changes, access requests, and financial workflows. Participate in internal and external audits as a system resource and data subject matter expert. Stay current with Workday updates and new functionality, assessing impacts and implementing relevant changes. Qualifications

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field. 3–5 years of hands‑on experience with Workday, preferably within Financials modules. Background in corporate accounting, finance operations, or ERP system administration. Experience in mid‑size or enterprise‑level SaaS environments preferred. Skills & Competencies

Advanced understanding of Workday Financials configuration and reporting. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical issues for non‑technical stakeholders. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic business environment. Preferred Qualifications

Workday Financials certification or equivalent experience. Exposure to additional Workday modules (e.g., HCM, Payroll, or Projects). Experience supporting multi‑entity, global operations. Working knowledge of financial consolidations, intercompany transactions, and audit readiness. Seniority Level
