Temporary Academic Program Specialist (Finance) The Department of Pathology & Cell Biology at USF is hiring a part‑time Temporary Academic Program Specialist. This role directly supports our Masters of Anatomy and undergraduate programs and is essential to student success.

Responsibilities

Provide supplementary instruction (tutoring) to students in the Anatomy Pre‑Professional track of the MS in Medical Sciences.

Proctor exams, grade assignments, and manage course materials for both Anatomy MS Masters students and undergraduate students enrolled in Anatomy & Physiology I & II (lecture & lab).

Maintain course files in Canvas and develop educational content for online and on‑ground courses (PowerPoints, Articulate stories, quizzes, and image databases).

Serve as an initial interface for students regarding course technology implementation problems and answer content‑related questions.

Assist course instructors in preparing and delivering course quizzes, examinations, and hosting post‑exam reviews.

Assist in grading discussion boards, report assignments, student journal presentations, and PowerPoint projects.

Provide weekly lab instruction for Anatomy Masters concentration students, prepare prospective materials, assist with cadaveric dissections, and set up and clean up anatomy labs.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent, with four years of experience in office or administrative positions.

Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Completion of a Master’s Degree in Basic Medical Science with experience in human cadaver laboratory instruction prior to the beginning of the fall semester.

Successful completion and 4.0 GPA (or near 4.0) in GMS 6605 (Basic Human Gross Anatomy), 6609 (Anatomy Lab Dissection), 6630 (Basic Histology), GMS 6610 (Neuroanatomy), and GMS 6111 (Basic Human Pathology) or equivalent.
