MTSI is seeking an experienced
Modeling and Simulation Program Manager
to support an advanced air platform program. This dynamic role requires a visionary leader with expertise in modeling and simulation (M&S), program management, and operational integration in the defense sector. The successful candidate will drive the planning, execution, and delivery of M&S activities to enable innovative solutions critical to national security.
Responsibilities
Lead M&S activities for advanced air platform programs, coordinating multidisciplinary teams to meet technical, schedule, and cost objectives.
Serve as the primary interface between internal teams, external stakeholders, and customers, ensuring alignment of project goals and objectives.
Oversee budgets, schedules, and resource allocation to optimize program performance and outcomes.
Develop, execute, and refine models and simulations to support the testing, analysis, and evaluation of advanced air platform systems.
Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and other stakeholders to integrate M&S solutions into system design and mission planning processes.
Use data-driven insights to inform decisions regarding system performance, survivability, and operational effectiveness.
Build trusted relationships with DoD and government customers, providing technical and strategic guidance tailored to program objectives.
Deliver reports, presentations, and briefings to stakeholders at all levels, communicating complex M&S concepts clearly and effectively.
Drive innovation and critical advancements in the development and testing of cutting‑edge air platforms.
Strategically contribute to solving defense challenges, directly supporting MTSI's mission to strengthen national security.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, computer science, or a related technical field
12+ years of extensive experience in modeling and simulation, with a focus on aerospace or defense systems.
7+ years of proven success in program management roles, including managing technical teams and delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
Strong understanding of advanced air platform technologies, operational concepts, and mission applications.
Experience interfacing with DoD or government agency customers, and familiarity with acquisition processes.
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts and program strategies to diverse audiences.
Must possess an active Top Secret clearance with eligibility for SCI.
Desired Qualifications
15+ years of extensive experience in modeling and simulation, with a focus on aerospace or defense systems.
10+ years of proven success in program management roles, including managing technical teams and delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
Master's degree.
Professional certifications such as PMP or INCOSE Systems Engineering credentials.
Familiarity with M&S tools and frameworks such as MATLAB, Simulink, AFSIM, or related technologies.
Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for solving complex problems and driving innovation.
