Business Development Manager - North America Latex Binders (Part-Time)

Scope of Role
– This part‑time (50%) Business Development Manager will focus on strategic marketing and business development within the Sustainable Packaging platform, accelerating growth across North America with customers in adhesives (CASE), barrier applications (Paper & Board), and downstream packaging value chain. Additionally, the role will drive business growth in coated board applications, capitalizing on regional production increases and paper‑based packaging expansion.
Remote Position
– The role is remote and requires up to 50% travel to internal sites and customer visits.
Responsibilities
Strategically explore target market segments to identify opportunities and define optimal partnerships.
Collaborate with technical teams to deepen understanding of application and product innovations, and work with functional teams to establish robust service capabilities, ensuring a clear market‑success path.
Expand market share by developing key accounts that excel in their specific segments, supporting Trinseo product qualifications and commercialization activities.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree; MBA preferred.
10+ years of experience in business development, marketing, or other commercial and/or technical roles in polymers or the chemical industry.
Fluent in written and spoken English with excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong negotiation skills and intimate knowledge of legal contracts.
Demonstrated capabilities in key account development.
Proven ability to manage opportunities from identification through product commercialization.
Ability to learn new applications and product technologies.
High level of accountability and ownership.
Team player.
