About the Role The Center for Family and Child Enrichment (CFCE) is dedicated to providing services and solutions based on individual needs. As a Quality Assurance / Improvement Coordinator you will assist with the coordination and implementation of the organization’s Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Improvement (QI) and Risk Management programs. This position has a flexible work schedule—generally 8:30 am to 5:00 pm with a half‑hour lunch period.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate standing and ad‑hoc QA/Improvement committees, including meeting notices, minutes, and packets.
Extract data from clinic, behavioral health electronic health/clinic systems, and child and family programs, and perform reviews within established timeframes.
Administer and summarize patient and client feedback surveys.
Summarize and prepare graphs for peer reviews, clinical quality measures, and performance improvement activities.
Conduct internal audits and inspections, prepare summary reports, and provide feedback to each department.
Perform PDSA (Plan‑Do‑Study‑Act) cycles to plan and implement changes, study results, and act on outcomes.
Track contractual requirements for compliance and prepare analytical reports.
Create aggregate data reports using spreadsheets, graphs, and other applications as assigned.
Support external reviews and reporting such as UDS, FTCA, and COA.
Work closely with the Director of Quality Improvement and Risk Management to ensure ongoing compliance with the organization’s QA/QI and Risk Management programs.
Minimum Education / Experience
High school diploma.
Three to five years of experience in monitoring or managing quality assurance, program management, or related fields.
Knowledge of programs and health information management practices.
Understanding of health information management procedures.
Aware of emergency procedures.
Familiar with child welfare programs and human/social services.
Knowledge of administrative and office procedures.
Required Skills / Experience
Strong computer, analytical, and data‑management skills.
Experience uploading and downloading data between systems.
High‑volume data collection experience.
Effective written and oral communication.
Strong knowledge of contract requirements.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and spreadsheet applications.
Typing speed of at least 25‑35 words per minute.
Data entry experience.
Additional Requirements
Valid driver’s license, good vehicle upkeep, valid auto insurance.
