The Judge Group is seeking a Continuous Improvement Manager with experience in manufacturing (Food preferred) in the Monee, IL area. COMPENSATION: $110,000 to $130,000. WORKSITE: Onsite (No remote). MUST HAVE: BS, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management. MUST HAVE: Experience executing lean initiatives including 5S, TPM, Kanban, SMED, Six Sigma DMAIC with a focus on lowering costs.
Responsibilities
Work towards eliminating all forms of waste
Foster process optimization, and a kaizen culture
Identify and eliminate process inefficiencies including defects, overproduction, waiting, non‑utilized talent, transportation, inventory, motion, and extra processing to support Lean and continuous improvement initiatives.
Perform value stream mapping, waste walks, and rapid continuous improvement events
Execute lean initiatives including 5S, TPM, Kanban, SMED, Six Sigma DMAIC with a focus on lowering costs
Design training programs on waste elimination
Analyze live data to quantify waste and value
Develop KPI’s including First‑Pass Yield, Cost of Poor Quality, On‑Time Delivery
Collaborate with other managers and departments
Education And Experience
BS in Industrial Engineering or Operations Management
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt (Preferred)
5+ years leading lean transformations in a manufacturing environment
