About the Role The Operations Technician maintains the operation of a Fly Ash Benefication plant.
What You'll Accomplish
Be part of a team that ensures the safe and effective operation of the plant
Operate an automated facility within a plant control room setting
Support a 24/7 operating facility by working rotating shifts and weekends
Operate mobile equipment such as wheeled loaders to handle raw materials
Perform quality measurements within a quality control laboratory
Support the plant operation with hands‑on skills to make repairs and adjust equipment in the field
Apply skills and perform work in other positions as assigned
Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.
What We’re Looking For Education:
High school diploma
Required Work Experience:
Minimum 2 years experience in an industrial workplace with experience in:
Troubleshooting equipment
Operating mobile equipment
Must have a valid driver’s license
Travel Requirements:
Less than 10%
Additional Requirements:
Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
