Crew Supervisor / Maintenance Crew Leader
Alcoa, TN 37701 12+ Months
This will be a 12hr shift. Will be starting on 5 pm -5 am, Rotational shift 2 days on and 2days off ,5 days on and 5 days off. Training will be done in day shift.

Description Client is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for the Tennessee Operations facility, located outside of Knoxville, Tennessee. The incumbent is expected to lead and supervise craft electrical and mechanical employees as well as provide technical troubleshooting skills to identify maintenance issues and develop solutions. He or she will also provide technical leadership and training to mechanical and electrical craft employees. The selected candidate may also lead a small team of production employees.
The successful candidate will have a strong maintenance background with verifiable, hands‑on electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience within an industrial environment. Candidates with supervisory experience, hydraulics, and PLC troubleshooting knowledge are strongly desired. The ideal candidate will be a self‑starter with a motivation to learn all mechanical maintenance, electrical maintenance, and manufacturing aspects of plant operations.
Skills Key Responsibilities includes but are not limited to:
Supervising electrical craft, mechanical craft and production employees within the department, acting as a resource for maintenance guidance to craft and other manufacturing personnel
Providing technical maintenance support for assigned area
Executing planned and unplanned work to meet department goals
Coordinate repairs with customers to ensure minimal equipment downtime.
Following-up on equipment issues, and developing technical problem-solving solutions
Providing on-call response to remedy critical maintenance situations
Engaging in continuous improvement initiatives of manufacturing methods, working hand in hand with craft employees
Adhering to Arconic EH&S, quality, continuous improvement, and other company policies
Assuming other special activities and responsibilities from time to time as required
Education Basic
High School Diploma or GED
Verifiable Supervisory experience
Proficient using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong maintenance background with 2years of hands‑on mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience in an industrial environment
Preferred
Associates or BS degree in a technical field
Previous work experience in a similar role
5+ years heavy industrial electrical and mechanical maintenance experience
Knowledge of PLCs and hydraulic systems
Supervisory experience in a Union environment
Supervisory experience with Production employees
