Production Scheduler

We are partnering with a growing food manufacturing organization seeking a
Production Scheduler
to support operations and co‑packer production activities. This is a full‑time, exempt role reporting to the Manager of Master Scheduling and plays a critical part in ensuring efficient production planning, inventory accuracy, and on‑time fulfillment.
This position operates within
FDA, FSMA, and GFSI food safety requirements
and is primarily office‑based.
Pay Range $60,000.00/yr – $70,000.00/yr
What You’ll Do
Use forecasting tools to determine production requirements and build production schedules
Schedule production internally and with external co‑packers
Assign new item SKUs and define production processes
Manage rework activities at internal and co‑packer locations
Process shipments of finished goods to internal and external warehouses
Coordinate freight with carriers and enter loads into the TMS system
Request and manage ingredient documentation for co‑packers
Reconcile co‑packer invoices and provide documentation to Accounts Payable
Update co‑packer pricing and product pricing in the ERP system
Determine ingredient requirements for upcoming production campaigns
Process production orders and reconcile inventory following co‑packer runs
Coordinate the return of unused raw materials after production campaigns
Support additional scheduling and operations initiatives as assigned
What Our Client Is Looking For
3–5+ years of scheduling, planning, or supply‑chain experience in a
manufacturing environment
Strong proficiency in
Microsoft Excel
Hands‑on experience with
ERP/MRP systems
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Organized, detail‑oriented, and proactive problem solver
Comfortable working cross‑functionally with operations, supply‑chain, finance, and external partners
Preferred Qualifications
Business Administration
Project Management
Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field
Office‑based role
