Responsibilities
Perform all data entry into the Human Resources Information System (HRIS), ensuring the accuracy and completeness of employment records and personnel files.
Maintain data integrity through meticulous attention to detail, regular self‑auditing, and adherence to established data management protocols.
Manage and track departmental supply inventory, including ordering supplies, recording purchases, and coordinating with administration to ensure proper documentation and budget alignment.
Collaborate with Finance and Administration to obtain purchase orders (POs) and tax exemption documentation for departmental purchasing needs.
Provide administrative support to HR leadership, including calendar management, meeting scheduling, and coordination of logistics.
Manage the Health Beat HUB OSUP and OSUP Leadership Channels by creating and posting content, coordinating with staff for stories, and ensuring timely and following calendars of events.
Monitor and respond to inquiries in the HR department inboxes, providing accurate and timely responses to routine HR questions and requests.
Maintain and update departmental documents and the HR intranet site to ensure information is current, accessible, and aligned with organizational standards.
Provide general administrative support to the HR department, including document preparation, filing, and coordination of internal communications.
Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned, supporting departmental goals and organizational priorities.
Post labor law posters and send notices as directed by the HR Specialist or HR Consultant.
Provide customer service by greeting and assisting visitors.
Manage the department mail, including mailings.
Complete verifications of employment requests and prepare verification of employment letters.
Recommend process improvements for improving data quality and process efficiencies.
Perform functions using job‑related software and systems.
Display attendance, promptness, professionalism, detail orientation, cooperation with co‑workers and supervisors, and politeness to customers, vendors, and patients.
Perform other duties or special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma.
1 year of experience in Human Resources or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferences
PHR/SPHR or SHRM‑CP, SHRM‑SCP certification.
Associate degree in related field.
Experience working with HRIS systems.
Practical knowledge of employment law.
Pay Range USD $20.63 - $30.94 per year.
