St. Joseph's/Candler
Role Overview Under the supervision of the Manager, the Coordinator of Transportation Services operates and maintains department vehicles, assists with the collection of physiological and demographic client data, registration via the Meditech System, and daily operational activities.
Responsibilities
Visit new sites to coordinate and communicate site requirements; determine departure times and convey to staff.
Operate vehicle in accordance with state traffic laws and safe operation of vehicle components.
Schedule cleaning, routine maintenance, inspections; inspect vehicles weekly or as needed.
Maintain a log of repairs and services rendered.
Perform patient registration following organizational policies and procedures.
Review and complete required edits to patient registration via AuditLogix; challenge inappropriate errors.
Assist with clinical and client registration, ordering patient tests, roster and schedule lists to site coordinators.
Review mammography screening results for abnormal results requiring follow-up; communicate with patients and physicians.
Maintain complete and accurate records for department statistics, FDA and ACR requirements and inspections.
Education
High School Diploma - Preferred
Experience
3–5 Years Commercial driving experience – Required
2 years experience in customer service field – Preferred
License & Certification
Valid Georgia Commercial Drivers License, Class A or B – Required
Medical Examiner's Certificate in accordance with the Federal Motor Carrier Regulation – Required
