Imagix Dental is looking for a Patient Service Representative in Atlanta, GA, to join our clinical team by providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating in a team-based environment. We take pride in providing comprehensive, personalized care in a warm and welcoming environment, prioritizing patient comfort and advanced treatments for optimal oral health.
Hours Monday 7:15 a‑3:30 p, Tuesday 7:15 a‑3:30 p, Wednesday 7:15 a‑3:30 p or 10:00 a‑6:00 p, Thursday 7:15 a‑3:30 p, Friday 7:15 a‑2:30 p
Position Overview This position is perfect for someone with a passion for providing outstanding customer service, a willingness to learn, and a desire to get started in the dental field. The person will support staff and patients, answering phones, handling patient inquiries, making appointments, and assisting with the completion of treatment plans while flexible in handling requests and projects assigned by other staff or the Office Manager. Responsibilities
Customer service; acknowledge, smile and greet patients upon arrival/dismissal
Respond to patient questions and/or concerns according to DCA policies
Answer phones
Schedule appointments
Maintain appointment book
Confirm appointments
Follow up on no shows or cancellations of appointments
Register patients on the sign‑in sheet
Post charges and payments to patient accounts
Check voicemail on a daily basis
Maintain a clean and friendly waiting area for patients
Qualifications
Experience working in a dental setting
Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred
Knowledge of insurance plans (HMO/PPO) a plus
Experience answering telephone
Must have exceptional customer service skills
