General Job Duties for All Store Team Members
Operate all equipment.
Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
Prepare product.
Receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
Training Orientation and on‑job training are provided.
Communication Skills
Comprehend and write correct instructions.
Communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers over the phone and in person.
Essential Functions/Skills
Add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (calculator may be used).
Make correct monetary change.
Strong verbal, written, and telephone skills for order processing; motor coordination between eyes and hands for rapid, precise movements.
Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Work Conditions Exposure To
Weather changes while removing trash and performing outside tasks.
In‑store temperatures ranging from 36°F to 90°F or higher.
Sudden temperature changes.
Fumes from food odors.
Cornmeal dust.
Cramped quarters, including walk‑in cooler.
Hot surfaces/tools from oven up to 500°F or higher.
Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
Sensing
Proficient hearing on telephone; near, mid‑range vision for most tasks.
Depth perception.
Differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
Temperaments The ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, operate under stress, meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments.

Bulk product deliveries unloaded by hand truck.
Deliveries may include cases of ingredients and supplies weighing up to 50 lbs.
Cases lifted from floor and stacked up to 72″ high.
Carrying
Large cans (≈3 lb) carried from workstation to storage shelves.
Occasionally 30‑lb pizza sauce carried from storage to front of store.
Trays of dough carried (≈12 lb each) three at a time over short distances.
Pushing
Move trays on dollies.
Stacks of trays (≈24″–30″) require up to 7.5‑lb force to push.
Trays may also be pulled.
Climbing Navigate stairs or a ladder to change prices on signs, wash walls, or perform maintenance.
Stooping/Bending
Forward bending at waist at pizza assembly station.
Task duration: ≈30–45 s continuous during the day.
Forward bending also at front counter and when stocking ingredients.
Crouching/Squatting Occasionally to stock shelves and clean low areas.
Reaching
Continuous reach: up, down, forward.
Up to 72″ to turn on/off oven controls, change prices, lift/lower objects.
Downward reach for scooping cornmeal, washing dishes.
Forward reach when obtaining topping ingredients, cleaning work surfaces, answering phones.
