We’re hiring a
Business Development Analyst
who is confident on the phone, intellectually curious about businesses, and motivated to work their way into a
full Associate deal role . This is not a back-office or research-only position. You will be on the
front lines , engaging directly with founders and CEOs to surface real acquisition opportunities.

What You’ll Do
Proactively engage
CEOs and business owners via cold calls
to discuss strategic acquisition opportunities
Build and manage a high-quality outbound pipeline aligned with active buy-side mandates
Develop founder-level conversations that go beyond scripts and surface real intent, timing, and fit
Own early-stage deal origination from first contact through qualified handoff to senior deal teams
Deliver clear, compelling narratives explaining why and how acquisitions create value for founders
Maintain disciplined follow-up cadences to nurture long-term opportunities
Track activity, pipeline, and outcomes in CRM to ensure performance standards are met
Collaborate with internal teams to refine targeting, positioning, and outreach strategy across industries

Are curious about how companies operate, grow, and eventually exit
Don’t need scripts read to you or constant oversight
Want a
career path into M&A , not just a short-term sales role
Are a team player, willing to collaborate with sourcing team and other deal team members
Prior M&A experience is
not required .
Cold calling, sales, or founder-facing experience is a strong plus.
Qualifications
1–4 years of experience in a
sales-heavy, outbound, or founder-facing role
Strong verbal communication skills and phone presence
Ability to tailor messaging across blue-collar service businesses and technology companies
Comfort working in a KPI- and CRM-driven environment (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar)
Interest in finance, investing, or deal-making is a plus, but execution matters more than theory
What This Role Can Become This position is intentionally designed as a
pipeline into an Associate role .
High performers will:
Take on intro calls and deeper founder relationships
Support diligence and deal positioning
Develop real transaction experience across multiple industries
Grow into managing deals from origination through LOI
Advancement is performance-based and transparent.
