Project Manager – Industrial, Manufacturing, Mission Critical

We are partnering with a leading employee‑owned general contractor to hire a
Project Manager
to support and lead
Industrial, Manufacturing, and Mission Critical
construction projects. This role is responsible for managing projects from
preconstruction through closeout , partnering closely with Superintendents and senior leadership to deliver safe, high‑quality projects on time and within budget. This is a great opportunity for a PM who enjoys ownership, problem‑solving, and working on complex, technically driven projects within a collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities
Manage projects through all phases of construction, from preconstruction planning through final closeout.
Support and enforce jobsite safety and quality standards, participating in site walks, inspections, and audits.
Coordinate daily project activities, resolve field issues, and ensure work aligns with drawings, specifications, and client expectations.
Assist with estimating, takeoffs, bid reviews, and subcontractor procurement; support contract negotiations and buyout.
Manage project budgets, cost tracking, forecasts, change orders, vendor invoices, and owner billings.
Assist with permitting and ensure compliance with applicable codes, regulations, insurance requirements, and contract terms.
Maintain accurate and organized project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, schedules, pay applications, and closeout materials.
Collaborate with Superintendents and project teams to support manpower planning, sequencing, and schedule execution.
Participate in OAC, subcontractor, and internal project meetings to maintain alignment and momentum.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, design partners, and subcontractors.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering (Civil, Architectural, or related), or equivalent experience.
5–8+ years of project management experience in industrial, manufacturing, or mission‑critical construction.
Experience supporting or managing large‑scale projects from preconstruction through completion.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
Proficiency with construction software and productivity tools (e.g., Procore, Microsoft Office).
Demonstrated commitment to jobsite safety and quality execution.
Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
