Job Duties and Responsibilities
Operate the butter churn, assist with packaging, make boxes, and maintain production reports
Maintain quality control procedures including testing and adjusting butterfat, moisture, and salt. Help in the relief of the butter melting and packing
Assist in the clean-up of all butter production equipment as well as other cleaning duties, when necessary. This includes cleaning and sanitizing of all plant equipment and maintaining housekeeping in the plant as well as all other duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor necessary for a safe, sanitary, and efficient operation
Maintain churns in correct specs
Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately
Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues
Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements

Qualifications Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Production or general work experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Able to follow directions and carry out instructions
Able to effectively work in a team environment
Able to legibly write entries for record keeping
Able to work in a fast-paced environmentMust be able to read, write and speak English
