Senior Defense Assessment Analyst (Penetration Tester) at Ft. Huachuca, AZ supports large‑scale government operations by leveraging cutting‑edge technology. Chenega IT Enterprise Services (CITES) offers forward‑thinking technology solutions to federal agencies and the DoD. The role focuses on planning and conducting OT&E cyber survivability assessments on operationally representative system configurations, performed with NSA‑certified Red Teams. Duties include T&E planning, execution, data collection, analysis and reporting. This position is 100% on‑site in a government facility. Responsibilities

Cooperative Vulnerability and Penetration Assessment (CVPA) to provide comprehensive characterization of the cybersecurity status of the System Under Test (SUT) in an operational context. Adversarial Assessment (AA) after CVPA utilizing an NSA‑certified Red Team to validate the operational significance of remaining system vulnerabilities. Cyber Economic Vulnerability Assessment as part of or following an AA to address DOT&E cybersecurity requirements for DoD financial and business systems. Develop and present Test and Evaluation (T&E) plans and Cyber Security Trusted Computer Base (TCB) documents. Perform Operational Technical Assessment Report (OTRR) reporting. Develop Cyber Security Quick Look Reports and Cyber Security Operational Assessments. Develop Cyber Security T&E reports. Qualifications

BA/BS from an accredited university. Minimum 12+ years of related IT experience. Substitution allowance: MA/MS with 10+ years of experience. Must meet DoD 8140 DCWF 511 requirements (B.S., CySA+, CBROPS, CFR, FITSP‑O, GCIA, GDSA, GICSP, GCFA). GIAC Certified Penetration Tester (GPEN). EC Council Licensed Penetration Tester (LPT). Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH). IAT II certification (CCNA‑Security, CND, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, or SSCP). TS/SCI clearance required. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and as a team member. Ability to handle large, complex workloads, coordinate multiple resources, and multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment. Knowledge and skill in applying analytical and evaluation methods. Ability to handle controversial situations with tact and diplomacy. Knowledge of cybersecurity and privacy principles. Knowledge of computer networking concepts, protocols, and network security methodologies. Knowledge of laws, regulations, policies, and ethics related to cybersecurity and privacy. How you’ll grow
