About the Role As a Plant Supply Chain Engineer, you’ll play a key role in optimizing logistics systems, improving material flows, and driving lean initiatives. This position is perfect for someone passionate about continuous improvement and operational excellence.
What You’ll Do
Maintain and improve production planning, inventory management, and EDI processes.
Implement lean principles to streamline upstream, internal, and downstream flows.
Conduct Value Stream Mapping (VSM) and Material & Information Flow Analysis (MIFA).
Lead Logistics FMEA and workshops to enhance safety and efficiency.
Collaborate on new product/process introductions, ensuring optimal flow and layout solutions.
Prepare and monitor KPIs for customer service, inventory levels, and logistics costs.
Interface with engineering, ITS, and logistics teams to implement best practices.
What We’re Looking For
Education:
Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
Experience:
Preferred experience in logistics or supply chain; knowledge of lean principles, TPM, and project management.
Skills:
SAP proficiency and strong data analysis skills (Excel, Access); ability to lead workshops and influence cross‑functional teams.
Languages: English required; additional languages a plus.
Strong communication, decision‑making, and customer‑oriented mindset.
Physical & Work Environment
Onsite role in a dynamic production facility (temperature varies by season).
Requires manual dexterity, mobility, and safety‑first culture with mandatory PPE.
