Production Supervisor 2nd Shift
Location: Chanhassen, MN, United States of America.
Job Description To meet production requirements by upholding all safety requirements; organizing work; resolving operational problems; developing staff; following written procedures to produce quality product; obtaining and sustaining accountability within staff and operations.
Essential Functions
Uphold all safety requirements.
Organize work by reviewing production plan requirements; preparing changeover.
Obtain materials and supplies by inventorying stock, placing orders, verifying receipt.
Meet production requirements by following and enforcing productivity, quality, cost, and customer-service standards; resolving operational problems.
Improve quality results by identifying process improvement opportunities and implementing changes.
Develop human resources by orienting, training, coaching, disciplining employees; enforcing HR policies and procedures.
Keep equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
Accomplish production and quality policy by completing related results as needed.
Own and lead 6S.
Serve as liaison between employees and senior management, providing daily performance updates, communicating goals, results and operational observations.
Minimum Requirements
3 years of supervision and coaching experience.
High school diploma or GED equivalency required.
3 years of experience in process improvement and developing standards.
3 years of experience in production planning / manufacturing control planning.
3 years of experience in manufacturing methods and procedures.
Quality focused.
Knowledge of Excel and reporting documentation.
Outlook knowledge.
Preferred Qualifications
Manufacturing experience.
Pressing / printing manufacturing experience.
Ability to lead teams.
Knowledge of 6S programs, lean manufacturing and visual factory operations.
6S and lean manufacturing knowledge.
Experience with an MRP/ERP system.
Physical Demands
8-hour shift(s).
Traditional five day workweek (M-F).
Occasional overtime may be required.
Standing or sitting for long periods of time.
Lifting up to 40 pounds with a pushing and pulling motion intermittently.

Compensation : Total Target Cash (TTC) range 64,280.00 – 101,434.00 USD annual.
