Responsibilities

Facility and Equipment

– Oversee day‑to‑day cleanroom operations, maintain equipment, troubleshoot failures, calibrate and validate instruments, manage inventory of supplies and chemicals, and report alarms to QA.

Operations

– Perform equipment and facility maintenance, follow protocols for standard laboratory instruments, order and store supplies, clean the manufacturing cleanroom, conduct environmental monitoring sampling, support calibration and validation activities, schedule vendor services, record detailed data, and complete required training.

Compliance

– Maintain integrity and confidentiality, provide MSDS training, communicate with external vendors, assist with daily laboratory tasks, prepare written and oral reports to management, conduct safety monitoring checks, and perform other duties as assigned.

Process Improvement

– Create, modify, and follow SOPs and validation protocols; collaborate with QA on manufacturing, processing, and testing; ensure product test results meet quality standards; maintain proficiency and competency requirements.

Manufacturing

– Analyze and interpret data, perform statistical and graphical analysis, participate in equipment/instrumentation qualification and validation, and contribute to department meetings, presentations, and publications.

Training & Development

– Train laboratory personnel on GxP and regulatory compliance, mentor junior staff, act as a point of contact for complex issues, and provide guidance on hiring decisions, professional development, and performance management.

Qualifications

Technician I – GxP

– High school diploma or equivalent; 3–5 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Technician II – GxP

– Bachelor’s degree in a related field; 0–2 years of related experience.

Preferred Experience

Experience in a regulated environment (e.g., FDA, ISO, CAP, CLIA, FACT).

cGMP experience.

Cleanroom operations knowledge.

Compensation Tech I: $22,180 – $27,730; Tech II: $53,706 – $67,142 (annual).

Location & Schedule Location: Cincinnati, OH (Day shift, full time, 40 hours per week).
