Assists in the administration of the testing program, including proctoring testing sessions, scoring tests, and producing reports of test results.
Responsibilities
Act as a proctor of testing, which includes proctoring testing sessions, scoring tests, producing reports of test results, preparing exams in text-to-speech software when needed, maintaining standards, following the guidelines provided for all vendor specialized and instructional exams, and maintaining security of test materials.
Maintain supplies for testing sessions.
Maintain test files and other materials according to established file classification; files and withdraw various items as needed.
Prepare a variety of moderately difficult materials, including correspondence, records, reports, lists, and forms which may require the exercise of independent judgment; checks work for accuracy; assures the correctness of spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
Serve as the back-up Test Coordinator for the American College Training (ACT) & Scholastic Assessment test (SAT) Programs.
Operate standard office software, including Microsoft office suite, student database system, and other computer systems software as required.
Perform customer service duties; answers telephones, and emails, assists stakeholders, coordinates room reservations and related activities; and may disseminate department or institution information.
Provides clerical support for Enrollment Services.
Qualifications
High school graduation or equivalent required.
Ability to prepare correspondence and to input data at a minimum rate of 40 wpm desirable.
Associate's or Bachelor's degree desirable.
Testing certification required. Must be willing to obtain and maintain a specialized testing certification.
Previous office or school experience desirable.
Some weekend and evening work hours are required.
Qualified candidate must be functionally literate in reading, writing, and computation skills as well as computer literate.
Hiring range: $16.13/hr. min. - $17.74/hr. 1st quartile. - $19.35/hr. mid.
