Location Location : This hybrid role requires onsite work Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday at the Parnall Office in Jackson, MI. The selected candidate must be within commuting distance or be willing to relocate (relocation package available).
General Summary of Job Responsibilities The Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) Project Manager oversees small to medium technical projects, ensuring timely, budget‑conscious completion. Responsibilities include planning, implementation, quality control, engineering safety, status reporting, and project close‑out.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Experience working on natural gas infrastructure projects
Experience utilizing Unifier PMIS for project documentation throughout the lifecycle
Experience using Bentley ProjectWise for filing and searching Gas T&D project records
Identify and recommend new processes, techniques, and standards to enhance performance and problem‑solving
Communicate and negotiate with stakeholders, both internal and external, including outside agencies
Develop and manage overall project execution plans and metric tracking for assigned projects
Develop project schedules with the scheduling group, incorporating concepts, constraints, risks, and mitigation strategies; communicate schedule to the project team
Identify and manage risks, issues, and constraints impacting project execution, and develop contingency plans
Plan and execute the Project Lifecycle Process (PLP) to meet agreed scope, cost, schedule, and quality objectives
Prepare financial forecasts and reconcile project resources and expenditures
Other duties as assigned or may be necessary

Effective communication, negotiation, and influence across all organizational levels
Cross‑functional collaboration with diverse colleagues
Recognition, analysis, and resolution of tactical and strategic problems

Practical application of engineering science and technology across energy delivery

Full‐scope project management expertise
Education & Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Applied Engineering or equivalent, with 2 years of applied engineering experience; project management experience following the Project Lifecycle Processes (PLP)

Associate's Degree in Applied Engineering or equivalent, with 4 years of applied engineering experience; PLP project management experience

High School Diploma with 6 years of applied engineering experience; PLP project management experience
