Prysmian’s McKinney location is looking for an Electrical Projects Supervisor. Reporting into the Electrical Project Manager, the electrical projects supervisor will possess strong leadership skills to lead a crew of experienced electricians. The electrical projects manager will value safety above all else. In this role you will prioritize, schedule, and logistically support multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. Lastly, the electrical projects supervisor will collaborate with the existing team to facilitate electrical design, construction, and maintenance efforts.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and schedule a crew of hourly electricians to support industrial projects within an operating fast‑paced manufacturing facility.

Verify take‑offs and define material lists.

Be able to read and understand blueprints and schematics.

Collaborate and with other team members within the facility.

Report directly to the Electrical Projects Manager.

Minimum Qualifications

Electrical Journeymen or higher.

10+ years of experience in the electrical trade, specifically commercial and light industrial.

High school diploma or GED.

Electrical construction background.

Knowledge of NEC code.

Knowledge of OSHA requirements, specifically 29 CFR 1910.302 – 335.

Organizational and effective communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Trade school graduate.

Knowledge of CMMS systems.

Has basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, building systems, utilities, and repair procedures relating to construction and industrial settings.

Has experience reviewing specifications and developing mechanical or electrical layouts.

Good computing and software skills including Microsoft Office.
