Job Summary
This position reports directly to the Kitchen Lead and is responsible for the production and packaging of edible and ingestible products. The role involves preparing ingredients, operating machinery and ensuring all products meet quality and safety standards in a food‑grade environment.
Essential Job Functions
Ingredient Preparation – Accurately weigh and measure ingredients according to recipes.
Production – Operate kitchen equipment and machinery to produce edible and ingestible products.
Packaging – Package and label finished products in compliance with regulatory and brand standards.
Safety Compliance – Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) for all assigned tasks.
Other Job Responsibilities
Demolding – Remove cured products from molds following production.
Inventory Support – Restock ingredients and supplies as needed.
Sanitation – Maintain a clean, organized, and food‑safe kitchen environment.
Documentation – Complete batch records and daily production tracking sheets accurately.
Quality Control – Inspect products and reject any that do not meet quality standards.
Inventory Counting – Count and record finished products and prepped materials.
Minimum Job Requirements
Must be 21 years of age or older and be able to pass a background check.
High School diploma or GED equivalent.
6 months to 1 year experience in a kitchen, food production or manufacturing environment.
Ability to obtain a Food Handlers Certificate.
Preferred Job Requirements
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high‑quality products.
Ability to troubleshoot and make adjustments to machinery.
Adaptable and effective in a fast‑moving, changing environment.
Collaborative team player with strong communication skills.
