Position Summary The primary function of the Assistant Director of Nursing is to assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, developing, managing, and directing the day‑to‑day functions of the SNF Nursing Service Department in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern the facility. The Assistant Director of Nursing will work alongside the Director of Nursing with the Administrator and the Medical Director to ensure the highest degree of quality of care is maintained for each resident at all times, following all health, sanitary, and infection control policies and maintaining established standards of practice set forth by the facility's administration and Nursing Policies and Procedures.
Education / Qualifications
Current, unencumbered RN license in the state in which you work (or LPN license if the state allows).
Minimum two (2) years of experience in a supervisory role in a hospital, nursing facility or other related healthcare facility, preferably in long‑term care.
Basic computer skills and ability to navigate various software programs, including electronic health record software.
Shift & Wage
Full‑time opportunity available.
Shifts needed: days.
Wage: based on experience.
