Overview
Founded in 1984, Firetrol is the national leader in fire protection & life safety services. We are currently seeking skilled Fire Alarm Foreman / Technicians to join our team of over 1,200 of the best fire protection professionals in the industry. This position of Fire Alarm Technician will be for our Austin Texas Location.
Responsibilities
7-10 years' work experience in installation, maintenance, programming and repair of fire alarm and detection systems.
Experience or training with a variety of fire alarm systems (EST, Notifier, Fire-lite, FCI, Silent Knight, etc.). Notifier programming certified a plus.
May work in a variety of business and institutions including commercial, industrial, construction, manufacturing, healthcare, education and government facilities.
Experience in leading crews to complete project schedules on time.
Experience in updating and completing markup drawings during installation.
Monitor and follow scope of work for projects and communicate the status and changes needed to management.
Qualified candidates MUST have their State of Texas issued Fire Alarm License (FAL). Security experience and Texas license is a plus.
Qualifications
