In November 2021, Venice Family Clinic merged with South Bay Family Health Care, uniting more than a century of experience helping patients. The organization now has more than 500 staff who serve 45,000 people from the Santa Monica Mountains through the South Bay. The Manager of Individual and Corporate Development reports to the Director of Individual and Corporate Development and will operate with a high degree of independence and strategic initiative, taking ownership of identifying, qualifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding gifts from individuals, foundations, corporate foundations, and corporations.
Key Responsibilities
Secure a wide variety of event sponsorships, memberships and other programmatic gifts.
Advance donor relationships and funding requests from start to finish, ensuring timely follow‑through and results.
Effectively communicate about Clinic programs, capital projects, annual operations and other initiatives as developed by Clinic leadership to advance health equity in our community.
Manage an existing portfolio, while independently developing new leads, focusing on membership‑level giving from individuals and sponsorships and programmatic support from corporations and foundations.
Partner with colleagues who work on major gifts, direct mail, grants and events to develop coordinated strategies for approaching donors (individual, corporate and foundation).
Serve as an internal resource for the Clinic and as a visible representative of Venice Family Clinic with donors and other external individual, corporate and foundation partners.
Salary offers are determined based on various factors including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, and equity. The full salary range for this position is $86,400.00 – $184,800.00 Annual. The budgeted salary range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position is approximately $100,000.00 – $130,000.00 Annual.
