This position is responsible for delivering the highest quality broilers to the plant while controlling costs and maintaining a motivated workforce. Key duties include scheduling birds for processing based on weight requirements aligned with plant needs, communicating effectively with growers, and providing guidance on management practices. The role also involves monitoring feeding and health programs for broilers, planning vaccination boosting schedules, and tracking cost reports, plant production, and DOA (Dead on Arrival) metrics. Performance is regularly compared to previous weeks, and collaboration with accounting personnel ensures accurate and timely broiler settlements.Additional responsibilities include weekly meetings with and support of broiler technical advisors, working directly with equipment vendors to optimize equipment layout for efficiency, and handling other duties as needed.**Requirements:*** **Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.**
**Experience: 3 plus years in Live Production preferred.*** **Computer Skills:** Basic proficiency with computers, including email communication, data entry into document templates, and creating simple queries.* **Travel:** Occasional travel required, approximately 1 to 5 trips per year.* **Supervisory Skills:** Responsible for supervising a team within a single department or work unit performing related tasks.**Reporting:**
This position reports to the Live Production Manager or Complex Manager.**Work Schedule:**
