Operates X-Ray and fluoroscopic equipment to produce routine radiographs of designated portions of the human body for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. This position is characterized by the ability to support operating room and surgeons by providing Radiology guidance of equipment. Knowledge of OR protocols as it relates to Radiology equipment. Participates in mandatory call rotation for after hour cases. Perform intravenous, subdural, and arterial radiographic studies and work in hospital areas requiring autonomy and indirect supervision. Required
Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology. Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Ability to deal tactfully and pleasantly with various types of patients, visitors, physicians, and other personnel. Certified in cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR). C-ARM EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED Preferred
Prior experience in diagnostic radiology. Prior experience in Operating Room procedures.
