Role Overview Contract: Full-time, on-site. 6+ months. W2 Contractor. 24x7 support required. On-call duty.
Responsibilities
Database management, database object management, backup and recovery.
Performance tuning, SQL tuning, and database performance optimization.
Security, data integrity, disaster recovery, and risk management.
Automation and scripting using Unix Shell, JCL, and other utilities (LOAD, REORG, RUNSTATS).
Documentation of technical designs and communication with technical and non-technical teams.
Provide 24x7 support and participate in on-call duties.
Required Skills & Experience
DB2 administration – 4+ years (required).
Linux - Red Hat – 3+ years (required).
Snowflake – 3+ years (required).
Unix Shell Scripting – 2+ years (required).
Advanced knowledge of Snowflake, AWS Database, and Data Replication.
Intermediate experience with Security & Risk Management, Disaster Recovery, and Splunk.
Ability to commute to Lake Mary, FL (required).
