Applications are being accepted for the position of Information Systems Support Technician with the East Valley Institute of Technology. This position will work at one or both of our Mesa Campuses (6625 South Power Road or 1601 W. Main St). School business hours are M-F 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This is an exempt position with extended work hours if job related responsibilities are required outside the normal work hours. The employee may work evening hours for school-sponsored activities.

Job Summary The Information Systems Support Technician performs technical support in the area of information systems, including but is not limited to the specification, installation, modification, maintenance and training of equipment and software used on the district’s data, wireless and voice networks, in accordance with district processes and procedures.

Job Type Full Time, 12 Month Exempt

Salary $55,101 - $71,080.25. Placement in the range will be based on a combination of education, industry related experience, teaching experience, and certification.

Qualifications

Associates degree, preferably, in Information Technology or related field; and

Two years of increasingly responsible experience performing duties detailed above; or

An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential duties of the job such those listed above.

CompTIA A+ or CompTIA Net+ Certification preferred but not required.

Valid Arizona Department of Public Safety Level 1 IVP Fingerprint Card

Proof of immunization against or immunity to measles and rubella if born after January 1, 1957
