Sheet Metal Technician – Metal Finishing / Polishing – Oconomowoc, WI
Join Ace Precision Machining and play a pivotal role in shaping aerospace components. As a Sheet Metal Technician, you’ll polish, deburr, size, and finish aluminum, stainless steel, cobalt, and nickel alloys to exact specifications.
What You Will Do
Polish, deburr, size and finish aerospace metals to exact specifications.
Create flawless surface finishes, removing scratches, burrs, and imperfections while maintaining dimensional integrity.
Work with a variety of hand and power tools, especially hand grinders.
Follow work instructions and complete quality paperwork as required.
Inspect surface finishes and dimensions using micrometers, calipers, height stands, and visual inspection tools.
Keep work area clean and organized and follow all safety procedures.
Collaborate with a team to build quality products you’re proud to put your name on.
What Experience You Need
High school diploma or GED.
Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus but not required – on‑job training provided.
Strong attention to detail, pride in craftsmanship, and a safety‑first mindset.
